Amos made the animals feel wanted. When he wasn‘t there, they were all sad and confused on why is wasn‘t there.

Very nice illustrations. The lighthouse will always be there to shine light on the ocean even when the keepers job is done

“The keepers work is done.” The keeper has been protecting ships. Now he can protect his family now he is done with his job

Watercress brings their family together after learning about the mother‘s hard and tragic past. This books reminds children to not be ashamed about their past but to embrace it.

The little girl wants to be like everyone else like buying food from a grocery store during dinner.

Winnie is so cute! She was literally is the Canadian Army then went to the London Zoo. Christopher Robin visited the zoo and fell in love with Winnie.

Winnie was far away from her home and was bought by the army. Later, Harry brought Winnie to the London Zoo to protect her. Lowkey almost made me tear up

“Winnie was in the army now. Harry taught her to stand up straight and hold her head high and turn this way and that way, just so! Soon she was assigned her own post.”

I thought this was such a cute summer story about a dog and its owner with what it looks like living in New York City

The dog was simply too hot and the owner tried many different ways of transportation to get the dog away. They ended up at the beach. The dog and the owner had a great day together.

I thought it had very nice illustrations and you could picture yourself going through the woods with all the imagery the author used

The little girl just wanted to spend quality time with her father doing what he has done with all of his children so far

The book was very funny and had great illustrations.

As students, they are doing what the nice bus driver asked rather than letting the pidgin take advantage of us by letting him drive the bus

What I liked “ and rooftops, grow lighter, and lighter. The rooftops are white.”

It seems that no one was taking the boy seriously when he was saying that the snow will melt. Then, the snowflakes kept coming and the townspeople were ignoring/not believing it.

This book was very relatable in giving up on something you once liked because you failed. This book would teach students to keep doing the things you love and learn to keep working at it even if you are scared
