#Mtcookbook And that‘s a wrap! 66 recipes made from 43 cookbooks from my shelves in 2024. 😋
Last night was an adapted fried rice; I used the cashew chicken recipe from the tagged book and everyone loved it, excepting the vegetables according to my daughter. 😏
This was a fun challenge and thank you to all who indulged my posts!

After a much needed nap, it‘s time to start cooking & baking again. 😄

Last night I made Ottolenghi‘s Crushed Lentils. Ful Medames is one of our favorite dishes and this one is basically a creamy version. 😋
Not including a photo of my bowl because it is not appealing at all! 😜 Hard to make mushy legumes attractive.

Today‘s projects included canning a batch of chicken breasts for easy meals later. I used a combination of recipes from this book and a couple of blogs. The recipe from this book included adding lemon and garlic for seasoning.

I‘ve never had potatoes with pasta before! It was a heavy dish, so a little goes a long way. But the flavor was tasty between the prosciutto & feta & copious black pepper! #Mtcookbook
No offense to blue cheese lovers, but who wants mold with their pasta? 😉

Cincinnati chili is always a hit!
The Korean Fire Chicken was okay, but to be honest I didn‘t follow the broiling instructions. Next time I will because I‘m sure it makes a difference. Also, this brand of gochujang is a tad too sweet for my taste.
