Seems like yesterday and a lifetime ago when we attended the #OhioanaBookFestival It was a pleasant surprise when I pulled this from my book.
pickI picked up this book at the 2019 #Ohioanabookfestival after listening to a panel that included Ms. Loewenstein. The setting was so unusual, that I had to read it! It was beautifully written and I felt like I could feel the dirt and dust on my skin. I hope more people pick up this great historical mystery set in 1930s Oklahoma.
The boys #haul from the #OhioanaBookFestival They made a few crafts, and happily took offers of all free candy (mysteriously not available for the photo). There was a great selection of children‘s titles and activities. The author‘s were also very good with the kids. Thanks for the cool bookmarks @cobwebmoth
