My students 😍 LOVE ❤️ Louie. This book is great for sharing book trauma. This is where I introduce who is responsible when a library book gets damaged (the kid that checked it out). We had some great art come from this lesson.
1) We were getting my daughter ready for Christmas photos and she was super excited to wear her new dress! 2) Just staying at home this year as my husband has to work New Years Eve (he works 3rd shift) Probably going out to dinner with my mom and grandma and obviously my daughter ❤️ #wonderouswednesday thanks for the tag @Catsandbooks
Yes-Anne Tyler also writes children‘s books! This one (from 1983 with illustrations by Anne‘s daughter Mitra) is a hoot, especially if you live amid book clutter!📚It‘s about a severely organized & tidy royal family who often complain about Princess Mollie‘s unkempt bedroom in the castle tower. But when the palace is flooded and everyone must retreat to Mollie‘s room, they suddenly find many blessings among the mess!

Because who wouldn't want cheese curls.... Humorous story about being clean/neat/tidy.

Kids will love this book and may be inspired to draw funny faces. Avoid inspiring creative misbehavior by reading after they get their pictures done. #underthedustcover
Happy #dinovember 😊 I saw this on Facebook this morning and I have such good memories of reading this with my son. He still sets up his dinosaurs in crazy messes when he gets inspired. I think this couple has a new Xmas book out.
While I appreciate the message behind this,I found it hard to “read”. My love of books deemed this a horror story. 😱😂🤣 #childrensbook
I just read this 18 times to students K through 5th grade for the 6th year in a row and it's still a hit with them. I love to tell the big kids how it has 3 voices: the narrator, Louie, and the reader. They can't get enough. #rereadfordetails #readoutloud
A simple and quick picture book about Roy - the dog who digs dirt. Both our 20 month old and our 4 year old enjoyed the book. Lots to look at in the pictures and it is a cute story. Our 4 year old could practice some of his reading with this book because it is repetitive. He also had quite a few laughs throughout the book.
