bailedI started reading this with my Bible study group (years ago) and I kept telling myself I would pick it back up. It is a difficult read in which I would have to keep looking up words to even know what I was reading. With my busy life I need to be more realistic and decided to finally bail on picking this back up.

The soundtrack of the tagged play was released in 1970 and my dad bought the album. I was 11. Somewhere in the mid 60‘s my mother became a Seventh Day Adventist and our household drastically changed. Listening to this album constantly was an act of rebellion. She HATED it. This clip popped up on IG yesterday so I thought why not share here. I still know all the words.

I read this every few years because it is so lighthearted and it pulls me out of my #thriller and #historicalfiction genres. Sometimes you just need a change and this is definitely my go-to.
