pickI enjoyed this book but to say they‘re all “lies” across America is an exaggeration. Many of the examples in the book are “omissions of historical facts across America.” The book also goes on a bit too long and gets a bit redundant at times, but I enjoyed it even if it was nowhere near as riveting as the author‘s original work. 3.5/5

Things have been crazy lately and this is partly the reason why - I got married at Niagara Falls two weeks ago where we braved the cold and wind to get married by the Horseshoe Falls!
This was followed by a work trip and lots of general adulting that comes along with getting married...
I‘m happy to finally have a bit of a quiet weekend to read (with my new mug of course) as I‘m nearing completion on three different books!!!
Guess where I went? Yep, Niagara Falls City in New York! I haven‘t been on a vacation in years. The husband and I went for our anniversary and saw the sights, got wet, and bought souvenirs. It was fun but I was definitely glad to come home. What can I say? I‘m a homebody! I wasn‘t able to get much reading done. #vacation #NiagaraFalls #NotInABarrel 😁
Last college reading is finished! 9 more days of classes and 11 days until graduation, not that I‘m counting.
The really creepy part, although their fire was significantly smaller, it also was around the roof. We need to preserve our historical sites, whether they‘re religious or secular, your particular history or religion or culture, or not.
