I found this pretty good but not great. I have mixed feelings about the entire Diana drama in the first place and this book was definitely meant to be one-sided. It's just as I expected it to be 🤷‍♀️

Finished my first #roll100 book and it was so good! I put this on my tbr nine years ago when I first watched the show. It‘s been long enough that I can only remember big details from the show, so I don‘t feel let down by either the book or show not living up to the other one. I feel the book gave more insight into Dexter than the show, which is great. Can‘t wait to read more! #serieslove2023 #ispybingo #hand #booked2023 #propernoun

MatchlessMarie The early books in the series are the best. You can kind of tell towards the end that Lindsay was being influenced by the show. But it‘s a journey either way. Also be prepared to crave more donuts. So many references 😂 🍩 2y

Yay! Finished my first book of 2023! My husband and I listened to this book together during our road trip. Surprisingly, I enjoyed this book (the movie never caught my attention before). I liked how in depth Puzo described his characters and I loved that "family" was important even though the Corleones were killers. It was graphic at times but not enough to deter me.

TheAromaofBooks Woohoo!!! This is one of those classics that I can never decide whether or not I should read. I've never been one for violent movies; I had to watch this in-class when I was in college and it was a bit scarring 😂 Luckily I had a classmate who loved this movie and told me when I needed to close my eyes!!! 2y
