Sorry, #HitchtoScreen. I just couldn‘t stand to be with these people a moment longer.

As I am still sick, I will continue with written reviews. I did not even get halfway through this book. I was so excited to get this ARC since I love Chuck D. The illustrations in it are interesting. He talks about meeting other famous people and the role they played when he met them. The reason why I couldn't read all of it was the book format. Review continued in comments.

I think I happily bailed on 10-15 books in 2024—a record high! I actually set it as a goal this year—to feel more comfortable not finishing books I wasn‘t enjoying—and I very much succeeded in that goal 🏆

I loved Look closer but couldn‘t get into this one at all. Bailed.

Continuing on a bad track of books not for me. I thought this was going to be a thriller/horror but instead it‘s a police procedural with a truly unlikeable protagonist. #hailthebail #dnf

This is not a bad book, it‘s just the humor is not clicking for me. It doesn‘t help that I have been reading Dungeon Crawler Carl which is infinitely funnier. So #hailthebail

This started strong for me, but then some of the dialog and characterization was bothering me. Also, does he understand how little 7 yr olds are? So sadly DNF‘d. Another book off of my #Roll100 list!
