Thoughtful answers and fresh perspectives on questions that test Christians' faith. A quick and easy read that fostered plenty of discussion in my Bible study group.

BookBabe I can imagine that it did! Sounds like a worthwhile read. 2y
julieclair @BookBabe It was. And would be worth rereading periodically. 2y

📖 I‘m a hardcover lover!
📖 More fiction to help me deal with reality but I still like nonfiction
📖Meet the author, in that way I can understand better my fave character
📖I will continue buying books because I‘m a collector (not a book hoarder😜) but that‘s why I keep my fav books, to re-read them someday, when? 🤷🏽‍♀️
📖Both
📖More fantasy but I like some romance sometimes
📖Enemies to lovers
📖Both but I like to buy books
Thanks @Bklover

TheLibrarian Love your answer for the re-reading/buying. My response would pretty much be exactly the same! 3y
Gissy @TheLibrarian In terms of libraries, they are beautiful to admire and see the collections they have plus some of them are beautiful but I want to have my own books☺️
Not allow to buy new books? Never is going to happen to me😜
Re-read? Well, so many books, so little time.
I will live surrounded by books the rest of my life. I bet you think the same🤗

This one is so hard! Obviously I can't live without apples or sunflowers! Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday... & October & November are my favorite months! But this means you want me to never have apple cider, bonfires, or hayrides ever again?! Or see adorably fat little pumpkins everywhere?? I don't think I can do it! 😂

How to Listen to God | Charles Stanley

4✨ This is a faith based book. The main message in this book is you need to find a quiet place to really listen. Each chapter is filled with advise and encouragement. Definitely a good read if you are struggling. Just finding time to listen can help with many struggles a person may be going through.

It‘s my turn to pick a book for my book club. I think I‘ve narrowed it down to these two. Thoughts?

⭐⭐⭐⭐
This book offers a fantastic guide on laying out the Biblical principles of decision making. Far too often people sit around waiting for a sign to do something. Even more so Christians are often waiting for God to write it in the sky. DeYoung promotes the idea that God has given you everything you need to know His will so get out there and do it! #Religious #Christian #action #audiobook

Incredibly refreshing book on living with the promise of God‘s loving power leading the way. I liked the authors ability to live with paradox as he shared his personal story and what he has learned about the sovereignty of God. It is not easy to trust God and continue in faith. Pastor Sittser experienced incredible loss in his life and his story and faith go with him in his writing.
