I loved rereading this. The audiobook was wonderful. I started it New Year‘s Eve and on January 1st I caught COVID for the first time. It has made reading this (her book about COVID) far more interesting! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I‘m having a lazy, post-Christmas day. Reading (and napping) with my dog close by. Good book so far!

Speaking about Darwin's Finches (on my last post), if anyone is interested in the theory of evolution and Darwin's work, you might enjoy the tagged book.
Now, it's been almost two decades since I've read this (and it was a translation) so I was very young then and I'm hoping the writing isn't actually as dry as I remember 😅
Still, it's an interesting book and I'd love to read it again soon.

Listened to this today. Diana and Fin are set to vacay in the Galápagos Islands, but when C-19 hits, Fin (a doctor) can‘t leave but he wants Diana to go, which she does. Of course quarantine is enforced there so her stay turns into months, while Fin works with C patients dawn to dusk, and so many die…Well written
