The kid wanted to play with the books and I told okay as long as he put them back. And he did. In his own way.
pick4 ⭐This was an interesting read. Papa and son go to work on a Saturday. They have many yards that they have to tend and Papa tells the son that they can tell time by the water jug. When the water jug is empty, they get to go home. However, son did a little bit more with water than drink it. He splashes his back, he waters the pets, and when the water jug is empty it‘s only 10:30 am papa has to admit that it‘s not a magical water jug.
pickA fun story with brilliant rhymes and wackiness that had me laughing, which means kids will surely burst with laughter.

pickAn incredible picture book! A queer family with two dads and three kids prepares for a visit from Grandma. But their mischievous orange cat keeps switching the letters around on the fridge to-do list, resulting in tasks like mop the baby, scrub the fishes, and vaccum the cat. I love how even the illustration details, which are gorgeous, are QTPOC focused. My kid already loves it and she doesn't even understand how funny the silly jobs are.
pickI just couldn't stop listening to this (which is good for my husband because I did more #chores than normally, so I had an “excuse“). So yeah, I just love these characters. I ended up preordering the next one (again, thanks, @ChrissyReadIt) and will only have to wait for a little over a month, so... perfect timing!
