This is Snork on the landing stage as illustrated in the book. My son was so taken with the replica of this at the Tove Jansson park in the Akebono Children's Forest in Japan 😍 they have the moomin house too! So delightful. I read this book after visiting and was excited to find mention of the different structures we'd seen. #babytravels #Japan
pickMy first Moomin book but maybe not the best choice as it's the 3rd 😂 i only roughly know the characters from picture books & cartoons so took awhile to catch on. Very quirky! There's a good amount of bickering and cheating that I don't really love for a young children's book, but the motley family and hefty whimsy still make it a winner.
