Heading to Charleston, SC this weekend to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. We were married in this city and I'm not sure what we were thinking by choosing Charleston in July when the only thing that separates you from hell is the screen door, but off we go! Many cool drinks will be consumed! Still planning to participate in #24in48 but it will be via audiobooks for the next few hours. Happy reading!

I love location specific board books! They're such great souvenirs to pick up for kids while traveling to remind them of all you saw and did. Japan is great at local food souvenirs but books are sorely lacking. I love this book my aunt picked up for my son on her trip to Charleston. It shows off lots of landmarks which invite discussion about activities and history. #babyreads #babytravels #travel #boardbooks
