A little bittersweet as it's Alex's last adventure but I feel satisfied with the conclusion. Normally I'm not a fan of long drawn out battle scenes and this book is essentially one long battle but it kind of worked?

Great set up for the finale. We see the aftermath of Alex finally getting of the fence and choosing a side. I'm so curious what the last book will hold!

I love the cover. I liked the book. Would have liked to see more of Luna, but it was an 'Alex needs to work on his character arch and chess pieces need to be moved in position' story. So, Alex joins the Keepers as an auxiliary trying to outsmart Richard's behind the scenes moves.

Eventually got to this Urban Fantasy about the diviner Alex Verus who has to make sure he's the one to unlock/find an ancient and very powerful magical artifact.

Predictable plot. The secondary characters kept me going.

Low pick.

Finally getting started on Risen 🎉 excited to see how this series ends 🧙🏼‍♂️
