Oh my gods, I need to scream and figure out exactly what in Dune‘s name is actually happening here. I‘m not even sure I know what happened at the very end. It‘s going to be a very long 2 years to wait for this next book.

GingerAntics @Liatrek I woke up early this morning and was REALLY messed up about the ending. I got some more sleep and I‘m feeling better about it. I‘d say there are two options, but I‘m betting on Yarros finding option 3, 4, or 9. 🤷🏼‍♀️ 1mo

Chrissyreadit I loved it but that ending was crushing…. by ending last 20% of the book. I‘m wondering who else turned- Garrick? Bohdi? ugh!!!! 2 years at least! 1mo

Chrissyreadit What do you mean about Jacob wins? I don‘t think so. I think Violet and Xaden are end game. I wonder if she was influenced by How people change when injured or TBI and have to work hard to get back to who they want to be? i may be over thinking it. but xaden NEVER channels for Love of power- it‘s for love of violet and love for sgael 1mo

GingerAntics @Chrissyreadit I was just thinking the same thing after I found Xaden‘s chapter and read it again. He only ever channels from the ground for Vi or Sygeal. All the other Venin channel for power. You‘re so right. I hadn‘t made the TBI link before. PTSD could also be an option. I think her husband is a veteran. 1mo

GingerAntics @Chrissyreadit I just say that because she made a comment recently that Violet gets a HEA. I don‘t see that happening w/o Xaden, unless Sygeal‘s link to Tairn is somehow part of his link to Vi, so if Sygeal breaks the bond like Andarna did, Vi‘s feels lose intensity and then she falls for Aetos. 1mo

He held onto the thread of his love with her, sgael stayed… my guess is the missing riders include bhodi and/or were either venin and killed or are with Xaden. Violet knows his plan and agreed with it- that‘s why her memory is erased. It is Tyrrendor I believe. 1mo

Chrissyreadit @GingerAntics I think Violet agreeing to break Andarnas bond provided proof to the irid of her value. I am certain they will be a big part of what happens. I also think Dunne will play a part- and here is what i also wonder- Does males hold the venins souls? Will it be a bargain with Malek for Xadens soul? and what does it cost? Something happened 600 years ago to end the venin reign…. 1mo

Chrissyreadit Im really worried because Rebecca said someone we love will die. So we know it‘s not Dain…. my guess is Garrick, Imogene, Rhi or Ridoc but i‘m really hoping not any of them. Honestly i‘m shocked she did not kill Mira off. 1mo

GingerAntics @Chrissyreadit what‘s Tyrrendor? I‘m hoping Vi somehow proved herself to the Irid by letting Andarna make her own choice. So many people could die. As Xaden has said repeatedly (or I‘ve just read it so many times it feels repeated), this is a war, and people die in wars. I dunno. I feel like this book answered exactly zero questions from book 2 and just added questions to the list. Oof (edited) 1mo

GingerAntics @Chrissyreadit I know he‘s the Duke of Tyrrendor and now, apparently, Vi is the Duchess of Tyrrendor. That‘s fun to think about. Really? Dain is one of her favorite characters? I do not feel like this is good news for Xaden getting a HEA. I mean, at least Asher told Vi to “let go of” her “affection for” Dain. Here‘s hoping that‘s a good sign for Xaden. I still wonder what on earth he would think of her falling for Xaden. 😂🤣😂 1mo

GingerAntics @Chrissyreadit just confirmed. Xaden was Duke of Aretia by birth (per Iron Flame), but now he‘s Duke of Tyrrendor. That dude has has so many Nobel titles. Next, she‘s going to drop that he‘s somehow distantly related to the English royal family. 🤣😂🤣 1mo

julesG Reminds me of that time I had to be on a heart monitor all day (in hospital) for my first time on new medication and I read an exciting book. Since my HR spiked instead of dropping the nurses were just amusing themselves and asked how spicy it got. 2mo

julesG I don't remember which exactly. It was 7+ years ago. But certainly a spicy romance since I remember that I'd specifically put a few "light reads" on the kindle. Funny wasn't an option, because shared room. Same reason for any drama/horror/... . The only other option would have been non-fiction, but then my BP and HR might have dropped for real. 2mo
