My prompt for #TBRtarot ended up being to read a book that‘s been on your Kindle for a while - I believe I grabbed this intending to join a #sundaybuddyread but that didn‘t happen 😂 Anyway, I almost stopped reading after a chapter or two, it just wasn‘t grabbing me, and then it did. Pretty fantastic and important read. @TheBookHippie

I enjoyed this story about famed interior designer‘s renovation of the iconic Greenbrier Hotel. A strong, confident, talented woman, Draper made some difficult decisions as she pursued her career at a time when it was not socially acceptable for upper class women to work. The hotel itself felt like one of the characters in the book, and it sounds like a beautiful place. I‘d love to visit in person!

I just started In Five Years in print, I‘m reading Summer at Tiffany on my kindle for #sundaybuddyread , I just started listening to Kasher in the Rye on audio and I‘m slogging on with The Mill on the Floss on the serial app with #hashtagbrigade ( I‘m following along with #littensloveacotar ‘s reading of ACOFAS which I inhaled )
