But I just couldn‘t resist any longer. 📚 I‘ve already picked up several series or parts of series. And they are giving me all the joy! I read the first three #SpyXFamily volumes and it‘s just so cute! 🥰 I feel like graphic novels and manga are a great way to switch up my reading pace and help me to avoid the dreaded #Slump
I probably haven't picked up a book in a week, maybe even two. Has that stopped me from adding to the huger-than-huge TBR? No. But has it stopped me from buying the latest book in a series even though I haven't read half the books in the series? Also no.

Hi everyone! Sorry for being so absent recently. Right before the holidays I was offered a job in another state and they wanted me to start work on Jan 6th. Well I can officially say that I no longer live in Minnesota and am now living in Michigan for the second time! I‘m super excited about the job and have been enjoying what I‘m starting to get my hands into. It goes along perfectly with my two degrees. ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Super fast paced and sets the scene really quick in the first chapter, this is a great competition story with a lot of fun elements thrown into it. I loved the ACOTAR series but even though this doesn‘t grabbed me as much, it's still a fun ride and I'm starting to really want to know more about the history of this world! I'm definitely ready to see what happens next with our Queen of the Underworld.
Ever since binging through two series back to back I haven‘t been able to really get into anything. It‘s been about a week since anything has grabbed my attention and I‘m a bit nervous! I decided to force myself to pick this up because I need to return it before I leave for vacation Monday. I‘m enjoying it but not sure if it‘s going to save me 🤷♀️

Okay this time I think I might actually be getting out of my reading slump! I've started so many books and not finished any of them for months now, but I just picked this one up off my shelf the other day and it's going well so far! I flipped open this book while shelving it at the library yesterday and the first thing I read was:
“I fucking hate Ayn Rand.”
...and I must say I‘ve never been so jazzed to read a book so quickly. My reading has been invigorated, lol.

I‘ve been going in and out of a major funk these past couple of months and it seems to be quickly continuing into this new semester. Hopefully reading one of my favorite books will really help push me out of whatever this is.
