Megabooks @Cinfhen I have read all of her other books on audio, and they have worked great, but Moshfegh herself narrates the audiobook, and you know how I feel about authors narrating their own fiction. #RunOnSentence! 🤣 anyway, I couldn‘t preview it, so I preordered the print instead of audio. Her stories generally lend themselves well to audio, though. 3y

Megabooks @BarbaraBB you may hate me, but I‘m not sure Matrix was a good book to read in translation because so much of it was about showcasing Groff‘s writing style. Matrix had very little plot. Lapvona definitely has more plot and has that special weirdness that Moshfegh brings to a book. Everyone in her world is slightly askew. Both are excellent but I saw a lot of differences. I‘m not sure if you will, but I know you and I both dig weird so maybe?? 3y
