Day 25: All the Fear Street novels have a #predictableplot. But did that stop me from reading every one of them in high school? Nope! #auldlangreads

OriginalCyn620 👍🏻📚🖤 5y
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks Haha!! Doesn‘t stop me from reading Nicholas Sparks either!! 🤷🏼‍♀️ 5y

#auldlangreads #predictableplot

This coffeehouse cozy series has a predictable plot but that's what makes cozies so comforting when life gets crazy.

OriginalCyn620 👍🏻📚😊 5y
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks Exactly!! I probably need one of these right now!! 5y
mrp27 @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks aww... hope life's not too crazy for you! 5y

I used to love James Patterson, but all of his books started having a #predictableplot 🤷🏼‍♀️

#AuldLangReads

OriginalCyn620 I don‘t think I‘ve read anything by him! 5y
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @OriginalCyn620 I have most of his older books lol 😂 5y

Debbie Macomber Christmas books... just because they are predictable, doesn‘t mean I love them any less!! #predictableplot #adlangreads @OriginalCyn620 @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks

ljuliel Sometimes it‘s good to read predictable books. They‘re actually quite restful and relaxing to read. 5y
Kshakal @ljuliel I completely agree! Predictable reads are excellent pallet cleansers! 5y
OriginalCyn620 Agreed! As long as you enjoy them, that‘s what matters! (edited) 5y

#PredictablePlot

This is one of only two Sparks novels I have read. I found both predictable.

Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks Awwww my favorite 😭😭🤣🤣 5y
Scochrane26 I went through a brief Sparks phase in my 20s. I do still like A Walk to Remember. My mom loves his books & has most of them. A few yrs ago, I did a book challenge, & a prompt was reading a book my mom loved. 🤦‍♀️so, I read The Wedding. It wasn‘t too bad. 5y
TheSpineView @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks A lot of people loved it. Yet, I found it not only predictable but too sappy for my tastes. 5y

TheSpineView @Scochrane26 I guess I just never got into his books. 5y
Scochrane26 @TheSpineView They‘re too sappy for me, too. Someone always dies right after they find love. I haven‘t read the tagged. My mom loves them though. 5y
TheSpineView @Scochrane26 A lot of people love his books! 5y
jb72 I‘ve only read one of his books as it was a bookclub read. I‘m definitely not a fan, but I generally don‘t like romance books. 5y
OriginalCyn620 Yes!!! 🙌🏻 Sparks was my choice too! 5y
Eggs I have liked several Sparks books❤️ 5y
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @TheSpineView I have to be in the right mood!! 5y

It‘s pretty much the same every time - an unfairly attractive couple on some beach in North Carolina and one of them dies by the end. 😕

MaleficentBookDragon 😅😅😅 so true. 5y
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks Awwww come on!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 5y
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks They don‘t ALL die!!!! 5y
OriginalCyn620 @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks maybe not all of them but the ones I‘ve read, someone died. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 5y

One of the worst books I read last year, this has such a #predictableplot that even I worked it out very early, and I am usually hopeless at that😂

OriginalCyn620 I haven‘t read this one yet, but the ones I have read by Jewell I‘ve liked. 5y

Louisa Clark takes a badly needed job working for Will Traynor, who is wheelchair bound after an accident. Will is acerbic, moody, bossy—but Lou refuses to treat him with kid gloves, and soon his happiness means more to her than she expected. When she learns that Will has shocking plans of his own, she sets out to show him that life is still worth living.

OriginalCyn620 Oh, but I loved this one though! 5y
Eggs Oh me too 💕💕 I don‘t believe predictability is a negative aspect at all. That‘s a charm-guessing what will happen and anticipating each part of it! (edited) 5y

Day 25 - #PredictablePlot #AuldLangReads

Although I love this author‘s books, I do remember the murderer being somewhat predictable for this book.

Pickpick

#AuldLangReads Day 25: There are so many versions of this story making it have a #PredictablePlot but this version is one of my faves. Everything is just so surreal and so otherworldly, one can not help but sigh at the impossibility of it all – with a Piggy-wig who gave his nose ring to the Owl and the Pussycat who were married the next day “by the Turkey who lives on a hill.” My review: https://wp.me/pDlzr-5fQ

Lindy I agree that this is a lovely edition, as are all the others in the Visions in Poetry series. 5y
OriginalCyn620 Love the artwork! 5y
