This collection of stories from his Newford series delves into the lives of city dwellers, including the artists, the homeless, and the marginalized. I love de Lint's beautiful writing and the mix of fantasy, folklore and horror.
pick⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Loved my first step into Newford! I‘m looking forward to reading more about this magical and fantastical town! My favorite story in this collection was The Big Sky. Definitely recommend for those who haven‘t read the excellent writing of de Lint.
Revisiting a favorite author for some comfort reading. Definitely a middle grade reader book but still has that de Lint fantasy charm I‘ve come to love.
Also, gorgeous cover.
