I've been riding my #NTBF19 reads for so long, it took seeing these books in my Kindle to #remindme that I have book club reads to finish!

Also, if you didn't catch it from @EclecticReaders, @Merethebookgal and I got to interview 8 different YA authors, so those will be coming to a podcatcher near you shortly! They were all so amazingly warm and insightful and funny! So excited to share those. #NTBF19 #EclecticReaders
A #SundayShelfie of my #NTBF19 #bookhaul! I had bought the tagged book previously, but brought it for signing purposes. The others I couldn't resist, and only the greatest of willpower and @Merethebookgal's close supervision prevented me from buying A Blade So Black as well. The one on the end is a graphic novel #ARC I won, so I'll keep you up to date!
I had to behave on buying books (I‘d have bought SO many, if I‘d had the option), so I settled on taking my copies of The Ship Beyond Time & For a Muse of Fire to get signed by Heidi Heilig. I was stunned when Heidi recognized me from our past exchanges on Twitter, and she had much love for my hat (this it‘s inclusion in this pic). My lone purchase of the day was Katherine Locke‘s girl with the Red Balloon. #BookHaul #LooseUseOfTheHashtag #NTBF19
Cohosts Jeannette and Meredith attended the NOVA Teen Book Festival yesterday and recorded four author interview episodes (with a total of eight authors) and we can‘t wait to share them with you in the near future! #EclecticReaders #podcast #authorinterview #NTBF19
Perhaps the biggest revelation for me was getting to hear from Libba Bray. I‘m embarrassed to admit she wasn‘t even on my radar, and now I‘m wondering how I‘ve been so oblivious. She closed out the event with a keynote that was brilliant, funny, and inspiring. I‘d randomly attended two of the panels with her, and she cracked me up the entire time. She is officially going on my TBR list. #NoVaTeenBF #NTBF19
One of the big highlights of NoVaTeen this year was finally getting to meet Heidi Heilig in person. She was on the panel for writing in a series. I loved her novel The Girl from Everywhere, and I can‘t wait to read her latest For a Muse of Fire. I was so dumbstruck that I forgot to get a picture when she signed my books. I just happened to find this picture of me in Heidi‘s line from another author‘s Instagram story. #NoVaTeenBF #NTBF19
One of the funniest moments at today‘s NoVaTeen Book Festival came in the panel on magic. Libba Bray got up close with moderator Lisa Maxwell. The panel included Cinda Williams Chima, Dhonielle Clayton, and Katherine Locke. They all had so much fun, and it was a blast to watch. #NoVaTeenBF #NTBF19
The Journey to the Past Panel was so interesting!
“I like to set my books in a time period that‘s at a precipice of change” Katherine Locke
“The line blurs between research and procrastination” Robin Talley
“History is like a Hydra” and “The irradiated water worked fine until his jaw fell off” 🤣 Libba Bray #NTBF19
