bailedI gave this a try on audio and it wasn‘t for me. The concept is nice and I‘m sure it was a lovely exercise for the family, but it didn‘t feel to me like something that needed to be put out into the world. It felt self-indulgent and theatrical.

I like movies/ graphic novels about people who are a bit awkward & not quite the heroes of their own lives.Dern has an amazing range as an actor, I adore the fact that awkward folks are in her wheelhouse. Not afraid to be unglamorous.The film only rated a 47% on Rotten Tomatoes 🍅 Don‘t care , recognized real life here.
