pickNormally, I wouldn't pick a book with these colors on the cover, but it's for one of the reading groups here on Litsy. Also, normally, I wouldn't read anything someone considers cozy. Not because I have a problem with them, but they don't usually seem to end up in my TBR. Glad I read this one. I recommend it if you need a light read with what are actually heavy themes. And, especially so if you work or have a child in elementary school.😄

Subbing in the school library today. Bittersweet because this is the library where I‘d hoped to work. They still haven‘t hired a permanent person. Makes me feel kind of put out. They didn‘t even interview me.
Look what my library just done did! Gave me notice of a whole slew of titles now available on Libby!!!! VERY exciting 🎉 Happy (?!) Banned Books Week! #LibrariesMatter
Haven‘t been around much because we are moving. This is our first morning in the new place. It was warm for most of the moving process, but yesterday the weather returned to our usual mild coastal weather. Hopefully it will stay that way since now we have to clean the old place. I hope to reign in the chaos before I have to go back to work in October. 😊

pickI‘m so excited this is the first book in a cozy mystery series because I freaking loved and totally related with Mavis charter! The characters and mystery were really solid and I enjoyed the little dash of romance. I am very excited to read the next book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
