Ok, so I bought The Diviners solely on its cover. I still need to read it. Read the other two and both were good.

A Certain Age is so beautiful and was my first Beatriz book. I had her sign it!!
I LOVE the cover of Daisy! Totally reminds me of Stevie Nicks at that age. I felt like the book was based on her and Fleetwood Mac 🤷🏼♀️ If I‘m being totally honest, I wanted to really, really love it, but I just love it. Evelyn spoiled me!! 💚💚💚
The cover to Nina drew me in because it‘s yellow 💛💛 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

I don‘t think I‘ve read a book based on a cover alone but certainly based on the cover and a good title. Some times it‘s. 👍🏼 like With Fire on High and some times it‘s a 👎🏼 like Of Things Gone Astray. I pick The Library of Legends based on cover and title but haven‘t read it yet.

I mean, look at these covers? What more do you need to want to read them?

This is probably the most challenging prompt for me because I hardly ever chose a book based solely on the cover. Even if the cover catches my attention first, I usually do a little background research before I invest time/money in the book. That said,
(1) Reckless Magic I picked as part of a challenge because of the nice cover, but the book was really disappointing ⬇️

Loved Washington Black
Liked 100 Foot Journey
Didn't care for Essex Serpent
These are all books I read without even looking at the blurb. I actually do that more often than not. I'm totally at the mercy of a pretty cover.

Because of my job (bookseller) and Litsy, it‘s rare to find books #IreadbasedSOLELYontheircovers because usually I‘ve seen reviews or posts.... but here are #3books that I loved, and went in blind...
- Mayflies, because the cover reminded me of a cheerier A Little Life!
- The Regrets is striking and odd...🤷♀️
-Pew is a beautiful naked hardcover, and I had no idea what the embossed splodges of silver foil were.... 🤷♀️
All 3 were fantastic!
#3books #ireadbasedsolelyontheircovers (and also because the blurbs sound good). In addition, many on Litsy have enjoyed The Animals at Lockwood Manor, though I was underwhelmed by it. 🤷♀️ The other two were good.
