It‘s quiet outdoors,so I‘m taking the cue to take my hour of calm. It‘s been absolutely necessary for me to slow & rest. April is Sexual Assault Awareness/Prevention Month, May is Mental Health awareness month. I generally speak about my experiences with both during these times- which is draining. Combined with news, our recent loss of our dear loved one who took her life due to an assault..I‘m tired. Focusing on light/nature

My Sunday evenings are too unpredictable for me to participate in #hyggehourreadathon at the appointed time, so I took advantage of the pleasant temperature to sit on the patio for a while this afternoon. Just a decrepit camp chair, a tumbler of ginger ale, a May book club selection, and a nosy cat looking out the window. (Nosy cat is probably redundant.)

I spent $8 for wifi during the flight mainly to test my earbuds with AirFly that I bought to stream sound from iPhone & inflight entertainment. I watched the pictured movie with dinner (Good, but I didn‘t know I was going to 😢) & now I‘m trying to read the book for work I need to read before Tuesday, so I have Crazy Rich Asians on for the background.😉 I‘ve seen it enough I don‘t need to pay attention.

Slowly working my way through this stack of books this evening while admiring the cute mug my niece and nephew gave me for Mother‘s Day. Their sweet words on the card made me laugh and cry. Hope everyone‘s day was filled with peace and love.
