I adore these books. I love Chester the overly dramatic cat. Chester, who can read, decides that the new pet bunny Bunnicula is an actual vampire and tries to deal with him. Fortunately Howard, the dog steps in and gets Bunnicula help and Chester therapy 🐶🐇🐱

Terry Brooks has been a constant presence in my reading journey my entire life. I can't really remember a time that his words and the Four Lands were not a part of my daydreams.

I feel it's safe to say that I owe my love for reading, especially my love for fantasy fiction, entirely to the Sword of Shannara and Mr. Brooks himself.

I started the #firstbookinaseries way back in 2015 and quickly read the next two entries. I‘ve since fallen away from it. It‘s such a fantastic series and I love French‘s “new book, new detective” approach. I‘m determined to return to the Dublin Murder Squad this year! #janinbooks18

This is a #firstbookinaseries that starts off slow, because it's laying the groundwork for a truly amazing story. By the time I finished the fourth (and last) book of the series, I was rearranging my books to give The Faithful and the Fallen a place of honor among my favorites, which reside in the living room. I bought this book originally in ltalian, the first book in the Long Prince Quartet. I loved it! Great character, an unusual, fantastic magic sistem based on poetry and an awesome worldbuilding with different cultures, each with its own rules.

The others were never translated, so you understand that l had to buy the series in English.
Haven't read the rest yet, but this may be the year 😊
