Last in this #batchofbooks is Malorie, the sequel to Bird Box! Incredibly excited to dive into this!

If you‘ve watched Netflix‘s Bird Box, would you be interested in a sequel? If you‘ve read Malorie, would you be interested in a screen adaption?

Made it through by pure stubbornness and the fact that I needed a bedtime book (hence the ebook). If you are looking for a Bosch painting in book form, here you go. If not, you can safely skip this weird mess of a story.

tpixie Intriguing photo though! #covers 3y

While waiting on the next Kopp Sisters‘ book, I‘m going through #AmyStewart‘s BackList. I‘ve listened to and read the Drunken Botanist (I wish she were here making all these drinks for me) and Wicked Plants. Now to start Wicked Bugs!
The books are fun and informative and the covers are gorgeous!

Chrissyreadit What do you think of them on audio compared to physical? I agree about #coverlove 3y
tpixie @Chrissyreadit convol answer: The audio is actually pretty good but the plant pictures are fun to look at. I‘m not good at memorizing what plants look like though so it was OK. The drunken Botanist has great cocktail recipes if you drink. If you don‘t drink I think it would be a hard one to listen to or read because it left me wanting to drink the cocktails 🍸 I don‘t have a lot of time to sit down and read but if I did the book would be better. (edited) 3y
Chrissyreadit @tpixie I do like an occasional cocktail 😁- thanks for this thoughtful reply! 3y

Scochrane26 They are both authors from Ky, too. I think Martin lives in NC now. 4y
tpixie @Scochrane26 yes!! KMartin commented on IG my post that Harrow lives in her hometown/ where she grew up. Lol as I was trying to ‘ pin‘ her comment, I accidentally DELETED IT! OMG 😳 how embarrassing 🙈 4y

Pickpick

Great articles in this issue. Articles on Kublai Khan, the imagination of Jules Verne, and the Gunfight at the OK Corral.
