There is so much #grief here. So many poignant moments to capture, it was tough to choose. But this moment brings a tear to my eyes every time. The sadness doesn't only relate to Harry's family--we see Dumbledore's family, we learn it's Christmas Eve, and we still don't know what's happened to Ron. As an aside, can I just add: Finally! They should have come here ages ago!

Nice to move away from Hogwarts and catch up with Lupin and the Weasleys. Harry's attempts at openness and #transparency frustrate him when people continue to fight against his claims. Is Scrimgeour being equally transparent here, by asking Harry plainly about what the Ministry needs from him? Or is it more political speak? Harry doesn't play the game, in any case.

Excuse me for dipping into the next chapter, but this one is all build up, it's only a prelude, it's dragging out and shaping the puzzle that's been laid out before us... into the breach once more.
This is where everything starts to make sense. The pieces fall into place. But observing teachers be dishonest with another teacher is shocking. Although not so much with Lockhart. Because seriously, he has been dishonest with us the whole time.
