Such a fun, cozy read. A scavenger hunt with the clues inside books and plenty of baked goods. Count me in.
I think I liked book two more than the first. I will definitely be adding the third book to my December #BookSpinBingo list.

This is a very interesting book about Elon Musk's mother. She has been a model and a dietitian for many years. At 71 she is still modeling and has written this book about her life. She got married in her early 20's and had 3 children in 3 years. Her eldest son, Elon, at the age of 12 was reading encyclopedias.

EadieB He started a software company called Zip2 with his brother, Kimbal. He was offered a job at Microsoft after they sold their company for 304 million dollars. His mother divorced her husband at age 31 as he was very abusive. She raised her 3 children at poverty levels until Elon and Kimbal told her to buy herself a house and they would pay for it. She decided to move to New York as that was where she was modeling. 1d
EadieB She originally was born in Canada where her father bought an airplane and they finally ended up in South Africa where her children were born. They eventually moved back to Canada and then onto California. Elon later developed and started Tesla, an electric car company, and SpaceX, a rocket company. If you like books about interesting people, then you would enjoy this book. Highly recommended! 1d

Finished books 1 & 2 in this series. Both are #Roll100 & #readyourebooks books with the second being a spun book for November.
The FMC can be a bit grating at times but overall I enjoyed these cozies with a Sherlock based bookshop and tea shop setting.

A cute short story with plenty of Thanksgiving vibes! I haven‘t read any other books in this series, but based on this, I would check some out. It‘s kinda hard to find Thanksgiving books, so I tend to appreciate them when I do come across them!

I enjoyed this modern retelling of Tristan and Isolde, though it‘s in a word, tragic. Thought it was well done.

I had picked a different book for this month‘s #seasonalcozies, but I came across this one on Everand. Thought it sounded cute, and it was! I‘m interested in reading some others in the series!

julieclair @CoffeeNBooks also read that one! I think the cover is so cute… the ghost in the pilgrim hat. 👻 2d

Arthur, an antiques dealer, is murdered, he leaves his friends Freya and Carole clues to find the murderer. All of it is related to the antiques trade. Part of the clues will help Freya resolve issues she had with Arthur before he died. It was an interesting and quick read. Overall a good cozy.

I love dystopian fiction. I like them weird and pretty dark. Bonus points if they're translations from unknown authors. I definitely recommend this if those things sound good to you. I definitely finished this while at a bar drinking water because I no longer give any fucks apparently.

I love, love, love AIC and this book was well researched I thought. I learned things I didn‘t know already, and it was great to read how the band formed. It was really heartbreaking to read about Layne‘s struggles with addiction. The fact that he was reclusive and died alone is devastating. Like Cobain, it‘s so sad to think of what could‘ve been.
