And with this, a book by an AOC set in/about space, I've completed the #BookRiotReadHarderChallenge2019. This was the first year I participated in this challenge, and I really enjoyed reading so many books that I wouldn't have read otherwise. 📚

NeedsMoreBooks Loved this! 5y
Chrissyreadit Congrats!!! 5y
Scochrane26 I like this challenge, too. I did it for a few yrs but took a break this year. 5y

This would be a great way to teach children to pick up after themselves.

This was my first Beverly Jenkins' book and i enjoyed it. I will probably read more at some point. It was a different version of a historical western romance.

I read this in the early 90s, and I remembered liking it, so I decided to read it again for the #BookRiotReadHarderChallenge2019: Own Voices Book Set in Mexico/Central America. I enjoyed it just as much this time!

Sace Love this book! 5y

stephothebesto Finally! Someone else who didn't like Spinning Silver. I feel so heard. 😝 6y
CoffeeNBooks @stephothebesto It had too many characters and interconnected story lines for me, and I just didn't connect to any of them. 🙄 6y

I wasn't sure I was going to like this book at first, but the story quickly became compelling. Matt King has left most of the child-rearing to his wife, Joanie, while he spent most of his time working. Now he has to figure out how to be the sole parent to his two daughters when his wife is in a boating accident and ends up in the hospital in a coma. #BookRiotReadHarderChallenge2019: #OwnVoices book set in Oceania

Chloe wants what's best for her sister Ivy. David wants what's best for his brother Ethan. They work together to play matchmaker for the two, and end up with much more than they'd expected.

I read this for the #BookRiotReadHarderChallenge2019 prompt: a book by or about someone that identifies as neurodiverse (and because @Lovesbooks87 donated it to my classroom library 😁) and I really enjoyed reading it.

Lovesbooks87 I am so glad you enjoyed it, I did too! 6y

vumblereads @audraelizabeth death note sometimes converts people into manga lovers 😂 i personally like the girl from the other side because it‘s dark and dreamlike. I love the art too. 6y
