I really enjoyed this graphic novel, and look forward to reading the novel it was adapted from, Rivera did an excellent job portraying Juliet, a plump LatinX teen navigating coming out, a new internship, romantic relationships, discovering herself, finding queer culture, and racism. I love the art style quite a bit as well, to no surprise (since I really like B.B.Free as well). #LGBTQ #QueerBooks #Comic #BookAdaptation

Wild. Film Tie-In: A Journey from Lost to Found | Cheryl Strayed, James Roxburgh

Wild, the movie: in comparison to the book, it follows the book very closely. Except I was disappointed that they left out a few of the characters that she met along the PCT and each character that made it into the movie had minimal interaction whereas in the book, their interactions were more significant.

Another fun comic adaptation. The story is entertaining, and the art is lovely. Geralt face-palming when he realized why he was hired for a certain job is an excellent moment in this volume. #comic #witcher #bookadaptation #adaptation #fantasy

The DUFF movie: in comparison to the book, the only thing similar between the two is the characters names. Well, that's not entirely accurate. Bianca briefly mentioned that she wanted to be a journalist and in the movie, she was in a journalism class and her mom wrote a self help book. Those are the only similarities.

The novels were excellent reads. I did not enjoy the graphic novels as much because there were several moments where transitions between scenes, or events from one pannel to another didn't make sense or were too abrupt to follow. #graphicnovel #comic #bookadaptation #demigod #magic #mythology #romanmythology #diversity

Buechersuechtling What a coincidence. I just yesterday started listening to the audiobook. I think I‘ll save me the trailer you posted for when I‘m through. 5y
JudeCC @Buechersuechtling 👍👍😃 hope you like it. Towards the middle it gets a little bit slow but then it takes off and it's great! Let me know if you liked it!! 5y

While I was not a big fan of the book, I am excited (and slightly scared due to my love of the original). #page2screen #bookadaptation

AmyG I hope this is good. I am excited to see it. I will have to drag a girlfriend with me. 🤣 7y
ju.ca.no I‘ve seen the trailer today as well, I‘m not sure how to feel about it🙈 I loved the movie and am currently reading the books, so the new movie has a lot of high expectations to live up to 😅 I think it looks rather dark, compared to the other works... 7y
Kaylamburson I hated the original book, but loved the movie. I hope this can live up to it, too! It had a bit of a dark feel to it though. 7y

While I wasn‘t exactly a fan of the book, I am excited (and slightly scared due to my love of the original) for this movie. #booktofilm #bookadaptation
