pickThis one had a slow start, and the writing was definitely a few steps down from the book I listened to just before this one (so it took some time to adjust to completely different writing in both style and quality). The story was disjointed in places, and that wasn‘t cleared up until at least half way through the book, so it just felt like there were these random fragments of other stories in random places.

GingerAntics The audiobook was literally just pulled from the original 2004 CD audiobook, so there are random “end of disk 4... disk 5” announcements in the middle of sentences. It would have taken less than an hour to edit those out and make this a proper digital audiobook. It just felt rushed and haphazard, almost as if no one cared to make a decent product. 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 6d
GingerAntics The case was compelling and there were a ton of revelations. There were a lot of twists and turns along the way. The killer, at the end, was shocking. This one had a lot of death and a lot of blood if that kind of thing bothers you. 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 6d
GingerAntics I think the thing that annoys me the most is that 3 of the first 4 books all have naked women on them, even though that‘s not part of the case at all.
