To no surprise, LGBTQ, fantasy, graphic novels are my most read genres of 2021. This isn't the full genre graph, but everything that's cut off continues to represent one book in a random category, which starts toward the bottom of the visible graphic. #2021wrapup #2021stats

coffees Oh i forgot Storygraph does this, i doubt i had so many categories but I wonder what i got xD 3y
Kenyazero @coffees it's never too late to look, since Storygraph lets you choose different years ;) 3y

I love the stats Storygraph puts out. My book moods were all over the place, but it's no surprise that light-hearted is one of the bigger percentages of my reading.

My original plan was to share my book bullet journal at the end of the year, but it turned out kind of ugly AND it's hard to share that one post at a time.

I'm A few days late with 2021 wrap-up posts. I wish Litsy allowed multiple photos in one post so I could post everything together! 😩
I beat my high reading goal of 200 books, thanks to audiobooks, picture books, and comic issues! That's ~72 print (mostly comics), 93 digital (mostly comics), and 59 audiobooks. #2021Wrapup #2021Stats

coffees I wish that too! 🥺 Also wow, great going, so many reads :0000 🎉🎉 3y
Kenyazero @coffees maybe some day it will! Ha and thanks, it looks more impressive than it is. It's greatly inflated by the comic issues, picture books, and audiobooks 😝 3y

Wynd #7 | James Tynion IV

I'm joining @Andrew65 in #12Booksof2021, sharing the remaining months all at once! Wynd issues were a constant favorite all year, so I had to include this series for December. I love this adventurous fantasy with charming characters and often hilarious dialogue. Feminist, Queer, Crip is an interesting examination of case studies using feminist, queer, and disabilities theories. #Nonfiction #Comic #LGBTQ #2021WrapUp

I'm joining @Andrew65 in #12Booksof2021, sharing the remaining months all at once! November was SO Hard to make a choice on because I read so many good ones. I managed to narrow it down to cute and fluffy (I‘ll be the One), epic and diverse fantasy (Black Sun), and historical and uplifting (A Sporting chance). #2021WrapUp

I'm joining @Andrew65 in #12Booksof2021, sharing the remaining months all at once! This YA book is a ton of fun! I love the ghosts, and Elli‘s ghost dog companion. I especially enjoyed seeing her exploration of what she can do with prehistoric ghosts. This magical realist book is playful and never takes itself too seriously, and has wonderful representation throughout. #LGBTQ #NativeAmerican #Ghost #2021WrapUp

With the Fire on High | Elizabeth Acevedo

I'm joining @Andrew65 in #12Booksof2021, sharing the remaining months all at once! September was a very hard choice, which I narrowed to a top 3. Laidback Camp is a charming, relaxing camping manga. With the Fire on High is a warm hug of a self-acceptance and familial love book. And Bicycling with Butterflies is a beautiful journey through self-understanding, naturalism, bike culture, and monarch butterflies! #2021WrapUp

I'm joining @Andrew65 in #12Booksof2021, sharing the remaining months all at once! This book was a huge surprise for me. I've never read a book about an ace character before, and it was amazing reading someone's experience that is similar to mine (I'm a-spec too). The writing is also really fun, and I adored the characters. Bonus points for librarians. #LGBTQ #2021WrapUp

Dear Data | Giorgia Lupi, Stefanie Posavec

I'm joining @Andrew65 in #12Booksof2021, sharing the remaining months all at once! Dear Data had some tough competition in July, but ultimately won favorite. This data art collection reflecting on a year in the lives of two women is beautiful and so interesting to look at. I was also delighted that one of the women comes from the county I live in. #Nonfiction #2021WrapUp

2021 Wrap Up!
I read 294 books 😳 I signed up for Kindle Unlimited and absolutely fell in love with so many authors. The majority of my books are from there. I really pushed myself this year to read as much as possible. Next year I plan to slow it down a bit.
