Happy New Year, friends! Here‘s to reading lots of good books 📚🎇 And here is our prompt for January - very appropriate, I think 😊 Have fun! Let me know if you want to be added or removed from the tag list. #TBRtarot

MatchlessMarie Yay! Keep me here. I am also still working on the backlist. I am hoping to catch up by the end of the year ❄️ 3mo

CBee @MatchlessMarie sure will! You can do it 👏🏻👏🏻 3mo
ChelseaM6010 Yay! Please keep me on the list! I‘ll be reading the tagged book. ❄️ 3mo
julieclair Looking forward to another year of #TBRTarot fun! 😃 My January #FictionalTraveler selection will work perfectly for this prompt: 3mo
majkia Please add me to the list. Not sure how often I can participate but I'd like to give it a go. 3mo
Ruthiella Ooh! I will have to check my TBR to see if anything fits! 3mo
Librariana Ooo! I gotta go take a peekapoo at the shelves and see if I have anything of the like 😁 I do have a lot set in libraries... 😆 3mo
OriginalCyn620 Actually, I‘m reading the tagged book that takes place in Vermont at a ski lodge, so that works. Thanks for hosting another year! 😊 (edited) 3mo
Deblovestoread Yay! I‘m sure something I own fits this prompt! 3mo
BarbaraBB A book for this prompt will also work for @julieclair ‘s challenge #FictionalTraveler25 in which the January prompt is Somewhere Cold! 3mo
AmyG And so begins a New Year! Happy 2025 to you, my friend. Thanks for doing this challenge again. Somewhere I have a book set in Iceland that I started but never finished. 3mo
CBee @ChelseaM6010 will do! 3mo
CBee @majkia sure will! Welcome 😊 3mo
CBee @Booksblanketsandahotbeverage 👏🏻👏🏻 3mo
CBee @Ruthiella can‘t wait to see what you find! 3mo
CBee @Librariana you may have just given me another prompt idea 👏🏻👏🏻 3mo
CBee @OriginalCyn620 perfect! And you‘re welcome 😊 3mo
CBee @Deblovestoread look forward to seeing what you pick! 3mo
CBee @BarbaraBB oh cool! That‘s convenient 😊 3mo
CBee @AmyG I have a few I can recommend if you need ideas! 3mo
AnnCrystal Just wanna say, 🎇 Happy 🥳 New 💖 Year 🎆. 3mo
CBee @AnnCrystal you are so sweet - happiest of new years to you too ♥️♥️🎆🎆 3mo
AnnCrystal Thank You @CBee 🥳🥂💖. 3mo
AmyG @CBee Thank you. I found my book. I had barely started it before my trip to Iceland and then never continued. So I am going to start over. 3mo
CBee @AmyG oh great! 😊 3mo
willaful Emily Wilde's Encyclopedia of Fairies is perfect for this, if it's on anyone's list. 3mo
CBee @willaful I was curious about that - is it good? 3mo
Meshell1313 Ooh perfect! I just picked up !! ❄️ 3mo
CBee @Meshell1313 woo hoo!!! 🥶 ⛄️ 3mo
willaful @CBee It took me quite awhile to really get invested in it but I'd say yes. It evokes more old-fashioned romantic series, like Elizabeth Peters' Amelia Peabody. The main character is prickly and difficult and doesn't have any idea how smitten her love interest is. And there's a lot of fun lore. 3mo
Allylu Got it! I‘m reading The Frozen River!! 3mo
CBee @Allylu it‘s so good! I think that was my favorite book of December 2024. 3mo
CBee @willaful sounds interesting! 3mo
Lizpixie Please add me to the list again!🔮 3mo
CBee @Lizpixie will do ♥️ 3mo
AmyG And I am now reading The Hunting Party -Lucy Foley. The book I was going to finish-ha, now I remember why. Not for me. A bit tedious. 3mo
CBee @AmyG tedious is no fun! I like Lucy Foley 😊 3mo
CatLass007 I‘ve had Fredrik Backman‘s Beartown in my Audible library for a while now. Audible is beta testing its Maven search. You enter a prompt for what type of book you want to listen to which, in this case, I entered “freezing locale.” Maven will bring up about a dozen books that might fit that description. It‘s not always effective but this time it was. Two of the books on Maven‘s list are in my collection. Others need to be purchased. (edited) 3mo
CBee @CatLass007 oh, I highly recommend Beartown. Anything by Backman really. Enjoy! 3mo
CatLass007 @cbee I believe I have every book he‘s written, or at least have been translated into English. I just haven‘t read all of them. I loved A Man Called Ove. J. K. Simmons is a wonderful narrator. 3mo
CBee @CatLass007 I love J.K. Simmons! Ove was absolutely wonderful but another favorite of mine is 3mo
CatLass007 @CBee I started reading that one a few years ago. Then Mom passed, we sold her house, and moved to a couple temporary places before I bought this place. It‘s still in a box somewhere. But I own all his books in audio format, so I will be reading it soon. 3mo
CBee @CatLass007 ♥️♥️ 3mo
