I finally got to see The Mousetrap and it was so much fun!
I love the tradition that, at the end of each performance, the person revealed to be the murderer steps forward and tells the audience to “keep the secret of whodunit locked in your heart.”

Me (third time seeing mousetrap) asking my sister (first time seeing mousetrap) with a slightly smug air, if she‘s worked out who the murderer is - when I have actually forgotten half the plot and don‘t recall several of the characters at all…
ITS MY RIGHT AS A BIG SISTER 🤣
“I like living. I have sometimes been wildly, despairingly, acutely miserable, racked with sorrow; but through it all I still know quite certainly that just to be alive is a grand thing.”
Happy birthday to Dame Agatha Mary Clarissa Christie Mallowan - the best-selling author of all time, born 15 September, 132 years ago.

Snapped a pic of this on my way to a community book exchange. I remember watching the tagged play a few years ago, it was brilliant.
Forgot to post this earlier. I'm so glad I convinced my sis to go see this with me while we were in London. We loved it. Agatha Christie was so clever.
What's funny is that I'd read the play but could only remember the bare bones of it, so the ending wasn't ruined for me 😀
