Love a hotel bookshelf. Oddly enough, this one has 2 copies of Phil Collins's memoir. Is he popular with the French? 🤔

Finished this one today. Really enjoyed it as Phil narrates the audio. Definitely check out the kindle version alongside as there are a lot of photos. 💯
From an subscription email, I added this book to my TBR. Love me some Phil Collins and Genesis music! He even narrates the #Audiobook himself.
I finally went shopping for books in person!! 🥳📚🥳📚🥳 I picked up these books at Ollie‘s - for $20 altogether! (Yes, this is the trunk of my car. I was so excited to take a picture that I did it in the parking lot! 😂😂)
Saw him perform in Brooklyn a few weeks back — couldn‘t help myself from queuing this one up...
Fangirl-ing it this weekend! 😘
There's not much better to me than Phil Collins' music, but maybe it's his memoir read by Phil Collins himself. Very interesting to me to have him fill in the reasoning behind all his beautiful songs. Quite funny and also very sad at times when he could have made better decisions. But I am absolutely glad that I bought it on Audible so I can listen each year. He reminded me of so much music I had forgotten was important to me. Glad he's back.
Listening to this, read by Collins himself! Things were decent until about disc 7 and now I'm getting a little annoyed with his actions. Still, fascinating to listen to him read his own story!
I am fascinated by the lives of musicians/songwriters. Although I wanted to smack Collins upside the head a few times, I did find his book compelling reading.
My review should be read with the understanding that I'm not Phil Collins fan. I don't dislike him, but I'm definitely not an enthusiast. While I found some of the stories Collins told interesting; I found that this memoir was quite a superficial narrative. It reads as a chronicle of events; lacking the reflection and deeper analysis which might have made it more engaging. I often found myself skimming. Interesting but not well executed.
Not my usual kind of read- but borrowed this at my new book club last month...time to finally give it a go 😄
The perfect weekend audiobook. I enjoyed learning more about Phil Collins.
Not a bad day to be out listening to an audiobook. I sort of wish we had quiet snow today but I am aware how lucky we are to have this weather year round.
I ❤Phil Collins!!! I loved his memoir and listening to it on audio was fantastic. I love his voice/accent. Phi Collins is also special to me as my mom and shared a ❤️ of his music, we went to his concert together in the early 90's, and I had lyrics engraved on her headstone. (My mom and I also shared a fascination with epitaphs.)

Irgendwie kann ich diese #biographie nicht lesen, ohne ständig ein Lied von #genesis oder #philcollins im Ohr zu haben 😂
Somehow I'm not able to read this #book without hearing Songs of Genesis or Phil Collins in my head 😂
This was a really quality autobiography!
Easy to read, almost always actually interesting, and really down to earth!
There were times I felt like it could have been more personal, but it's his choice how much he wants to share with us and I really enjoyed reading what we got!
I'm so excited to finally have this book in my hands- it's definitely helping with this slump!
Although it's definitely taking me longer than it should to get through it!
Love Phil. This was so much fun to read. Loved his openness and honesty.
Phil talking about playing Since I Lost You, off of the Genesis album We Can't Dance, for Eric Clapton the first time. It was a song he wrote after Clapton's son had fallen from a window and died.
