Slated was VERY good! The plot was great but how Teri Terry ( yes that‘s her name) accomplished this book was the best part. Can‘t wait to start the next one!
5/5
This was an awesome story of mysterious forces and government conspiracy set in the near future, following a strong but confused and naive teen as she ties to find herself and survive after having her memories surgically removed.
I was on the edge of my seat half the time, lulled into false securities the rest, and always wanting to know what happened next.
⬇️
Teenager Kyra is Slated, her brain wiped completely clean of any memories. She‘s waiting to meet her new family who agreed to adopt her following the treatment. Kyla is 16 and this is her last chance so why does it feel like something is badly wrong?
I wasn‘t sure what to expect but I was surprised how much I enjoyed reading it. It has the usual YA insta-love but on the whole, a good read. Rating: 4 🌟
I felt like this book was slow at first, and at the beginning the writing felt a bit amateur, and almost fanfiction like. The relationship development between Kyla and Ben was a little fast and cliché. It definitely got more exciting as the book developed, and it wasn't as slow at the end as it was in the beginning. But I do like the mystery behind it, and I feel compelled to finish the series because I'm just so curious to see how it ends.
I would Kyla from Slated 👊❤️
She‘s super tough, loyal, curious, and doesn‘t back down in the face of injustice.
Interesting question! What would all you littens be?
Simple is hard enough. Who needs complicated?
~ Teri Terry, Slated
So true..👌🏼
This is one of my favorites quotes ever 💕
I loved it!! I read the book in 2 Days and I will start today with the second one...😏💓 I have really high expectations and I hope I like it!😍😍
“Within days of remembering how to put one foot in front of the other and not fall over, I'd walked and counted and mapped with pictures in my mind every floor of the hospital that was access allowed. I could have found each nurses' station, lab and room by number blindfolded; I could close me eyes now and see it all before me.”

Forever wishing that this book series would receive the love it deserves ❤️ I can't recommend this series enough! #Slated #Fractured #Shattered #TeriTerry #Love #Fountain #UnderratedSeries #Trilogy
About 100 pages in and I am hooked. I have so many questions! What is going on with Kyla? What about her parents, who are they really? And Amy? Guess I'll only find out if I continue reading 👀

Kyla‘s memory has been erased,
her personality wiped blank,
her memories lost for ever.
She‘s been Slated.
The government claims she was a terrorist and that they are giving her a second chance as long as she plays by their rules. But echoes of the past whisper in Kyla‘s mind. Someone is lying to her, and nothing is as it seems.

I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!! It was gripping and I am definitely going to read the rest of the trilogy. It's a great dystopian book and id recommend it to anyone who likes dystopian books.
I love this book so far!! So much mystery and suspense. Definitely one of the best dystopian novels I've read.
I currently can't fathom any way to describe it. Although it may seem slow and going nowhere at first, don't get conned. It was simply to allow you to connect and care for the characters. Despite all of the stabbing pain one feels in their heart from reading this, it was a truly wonderful read.
