It‘s a hoopla #graphicnovel kind of weekend.
Jim Benton, author of the Dear Dumb Diary series my girls enjoyed, dedicated Man I Hate Cursive to the man “who used to pull my crumpled up drawings out of the trash when I was a kid.” Guessing that‘s his dad. I like that #dedication.

I was never any good at #cursive. I lived in England until the age of 9, and started attending American public school the year after they taught cursive. I spent most of 4th grade frustrated with it, and consistently getting Bs in the subject (horror!). I was homeschooled after that, and my mom didn't make me use it past 6th grade. My cursive now looks like a 4th grader's. 😂 These covers are a big improvement on my cursive. #fallintobooks
My mother has beautiful cursive writing I do not! I only have 3 books for the #cursive prompt for #fallintobooks which is fitting :)

pickThis is a fun and funny book that would make a great gift. (I just wish the author had chosen a more representative title and cover for his book, so maybe more potential readers would be drawn to it and pick it up.)

pickThis book of standalone strips of comics has some very funny moments. Some of the cartoons I have seen before. I do with there was more of a flow to the book. Right now it just feels like everything was jammed in with no rhyme or reason. But it is still funny.
