This gothic novel is beautifully written. Loosely based on the Island of Dr. Moreau, we once again follow the Thaumas sisters as the youngest Verity, takes a leap, and goes on a daring and twisted adventure.
Absolutely horrifyingly beautiful.

Thank you for all of the goodies! I‘m obsessed with the apple cinnamon tea. I‘ve already had three cups this morning. 😂 I also need you to teach me how to wrap presents because your wrapping skills are immaculate!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Swapping the sea for dreamy botanicals, hidden passageways, poisonous gardens, and a mysterious mansion, this second book in the “Sisters of the Salt” series is all about the gothic mood and vibes. It feels like the ideal ghost story for the spring season. The pacing in the middle felt a bit slow, but that spine-tingling ending… chef‘s kiss!

I‘m glad I gave this a chance after having issues with the first book. It was really good. Sweet, smart, twisty.
Verity (the youngest of the Thaumas sisters) has been kept out of society by 1 of her older sisters. she finds out the reason: she can see ghosts. She flees after the revelation, taking a job painting a portrait for Alex, the son of a duke, but his family has their own secrets
Worldbuilding was much more straightforward, really fun.

It was pretty good for the most part but the ending was shocking. I liked the first book a bit more but this was still pretty good

I literally could•not•put•this•down!! I devoured a big chunk of this at work today 🤭 This was so different from the first book yet connected. This story was all about the youngest Thaumas sister Verity. It‘s set 12 years after the first book and I honestly loved it more than the first and the creep factor had me so captivated to see what was next! I will say with that ending…there better be another!!

Last official day of summer will be spent doing what I love! Sitting in the pool at our local water park reading my kindle while my kiddo and husband run around the park! I may have to get one last water ride in before the day ends 😏
Happy Labor Day Littens!!!

Woo!!! Happy birthday to me!! I preordered this book a few months ago and it has arrived 2 days before my birthday!! Can‘t wait to dive into this sequel !!!! 🥳😍😇🤩

I just got this email from Barnes & Noble sharing this new book from Erin A. Craig. I see that Barnes & Noble has an Exclusive Edition of this book. I preordered my book from Books A Million and now, I wish I would have preordered my book from Barnes & Noble but if I did that then it wouldn‘t match the first book that I have. If I have books in a series, I want all of them to be the same editions.

I preordered the Hardcover edition of this book from Books A Million and it‘s so pretty. I really like the front of the book, the endpapers in the front and back of the book, the back of the book and what the book looks like without the dust jacket. I took off the dust jacket and the front of the book has a beautiful foil design. I like how this book was designed. The colors used work so well together.
