Any other 90s kids madly in love with the film version of Newsies? I might have to look for some historical reading on the newsboys strike of 1899; for now, I'll just keep loving teenage Gabriel Damon and Christian Bale. #CarpeDiem #FallIntoBooks

Andrea313 @conceptualkaren It's fun. I much prefer the film, but I definitely recommend seeing it if you get the chance. The production was filmed at the Pantages Theatre in California, and I think you can buy it on Amazon, if you're really interested. But I'm pretty content to stick with the original! 7y

I saw Newsies on Broadway in 2012 so of course I had to see this in the movie theatre... Awesome show!! And as a big fan of the original movie from the 90s, I wasn't sure how they could top it. But they definitely did! 📰
