Annie‘s searching for her match, but small town Rome limits her options & the men find her boring. Bad boy bodyguard Will‘s required to live in Rome for Amelia‘s wedding, so Annie asks him to fake date her for tips. What happens when they start having feelings for each other? Will he stay?
This one was better than the 1st one. There was more romance & comedy. I wanted a little more spice though.
Absolutely delightful! Annie‘s sweet earnestness, paired with Will‘s tattoo-covered heart of gold personality created the perfect blend for great chemistry. This is my first by this author, and it made for the perfect vacation read. Fun and just enough character development to make it work. I loved watching Annie and Will figure out how they saw themselves versus how the world sees them and find the balance of who they really were.
This was very cute and I enjoyed it but could have done with a little more spice… a good palette cleanser and just what I needed!
I enjoyed this. 3⭐
It was a bit too angelic, though I do understand that was in purpose, as we follow sweet virginal Annie who has a swear jar for her siblings and owns a small town flower shop, bad boy Will is brought in to coach her on dating. As with most of these it was so predictable I was often speaking lines before they were read, but I understand some readers like that in these, I just wanted a bit more. Good fluff though.
This was so cute! Introverted Annie has zero game, but she longs to find her life partner. Will, a tattooed hunk of a bodyguard, reluctantly agrees to coach Annie on how to date. Yes, this is romance, but it‘s also about finding out who you really are, not just being what people want or expect you to be. All the feels! And Will is my newest book boyfriend.

All the feels! ❤️ This one was even better than “When in Rome”, the first book in this series. Loved both the FMC and MMC. From Annie‘s introvert personality to Will‘s struggle with his past, I was so feeling it. While a big chunk of it was lighthearted and sweet, there were moments of emotional depth that just got to me. Loved it!
✨ may ✨

November #bookishbingo. Even though I didn‘t get bingo, it was still fun!
This was cute! Loved the MCs, and always dig a "bad boy into the small town good girl" angle. It's got a really slow burn and more of a slightly cracked door romance vibe. Certainly alot less spicy than my usual fare, but would be perfect for someone who prefers good chemistry with minimal details in the bedroom ? #aardvark
Lovely, entertaining romance duology: it‘s sweet, heartwarming, cute, fluffy and fun 😊
Perfect way to start the day…with a new book!
🥰🥰🥰🥰 SWOOOONING! Related SO MUCH to the main & this amazing story! Love love the fluff and fun
The best part about getting back to my painting is not only am I finding more creativity, but I'm flying through audiobooks. Almost back on track with my yearly goal. Only 1 book behind now.
My daughter recommended this to me, and I‘m so glad she did. I found myself laughing throughout the story, and rooting for the MCs. Is it super cheesy? Of course, but that‘s another thing I loved about it. I think I liked this one more than the first in the series (When in Rome) and Sarah Adams hinted at there being another book to come. Can‘t wait!
I enjoyed this book a lot. I have heard about this book everywhere and so I checked it out from libby. I love the characters!!!! I rated this book a 4 out of 5 stars!!!
Delightful! Sweet enough to give you a cavity but I‘m not complaining 😍 Romantic but not spicy, lots of pining and longing (oh the longing), this is a cozy, comfy book that is lovely to disappear into. A great follow up to When in Rome. #BookspinBingo @TheAromaofBooks
A quiet house, a glass of wine, and a sweet, relaxing book. The perfect night? I think so . . .
Love love love love! First, super refreshing to see characters discuss things and talk it all out like adults. Second, after getting a glimpse of these two in When in Rome, it was great to see them fleshed out and also see how Noah and Amelia are doing too. Bonus for pirate romances. Cannot wait for the next!
