This is The Holiday Adventure Club #2-the first book is the tagged one. This one is set at the time of St Patrick‘s Day but doesn‘t really contain any of the holiday in the story.
Lucy takes a group to St Barts where some find love, some find scandal, some find heartache, and they all attend a yacht regatta. It‘s very tropical in theme and made me want to travel to a beautiful vacation destination. These are easy, breezy reads. No stress at all.
pickThis was an easy, cute read! At less than 200 pages, it‘s a seasonal palate-cleanser after several horrors and thrillers.
Lucy has opened an Adventure Travel business where she will take a group to different destinations in the world for holiday adventures. I liked the friends she made on this trip, and the Venice setting. Not really a romance although there is potential for that development in future installments. Will read more in this series.
This is my #currentlyreading and I listened for a while today while driving. The book is narrated by Virtual Voice which is not a real voice actor. At first, you think “hmm, this isn‘t so bad” but when the characters have any type of nuanced conversation or exclamation —> wow, it‘s so robotic. It‘s almost comical. But more than that, it‘s sad to me that real voice actors may end up getting priced out of doing this work. The audio just isn‘t good.
pickThe tagged is the first book in a holiday travel series. It was recommended to me by a friend because the next book takes place on St. Barths. Some of my husband‘s family live there so she thought I‘d enjoy a book set there.
Book one was filled with great characters and their interesting storylines. I may save book 2 for May‘s #TitlesandTunes.
