I‘m just bored, this one also reads younger than the first two books and nothing seems to be happening so, bailing.
Another off the #Roll100 list at least.
I didn‘t love this quite as much as the second book in the regency faerie tales series but it was still really good! This is such a cool series and I loved the inclusion of a queer romance. Some beautiful beautiful world building here and an amazing ending.

The third book in Atwater's Regency Faerie Tale series. This is hands down my favorite so far. It's decidedly less cozy than the first, and even the second. But this was an absolute joy to read. This is a book about death, but also about life, and choices, and even defying death with love. Gorgeous and queer AF.
What is with fantasy romance authors and adding an LGBTQ+ entry as the 3rd book in their loosely-connected and up to that point straight-as-an-arrow trilogies? I know just two cases (the other being Paladin's Hope by T. Kingfisher) aren't a pattern, but still. Is this a trend?
(Both trilogies are good, start to finish.)

This book started slow for me, but got really good towards the end. I thought the villain was interesting if not well developed and I think the author did a great job of showing how teenage hormones are a terrible distraction.
Abby decides to help her adoptive parents solve the murder of young ladies on the marriage mart and meets an alluring girl from Faerie who helps her overcome crippling social anxiety and solve the murders.
