I won‘t say much about this to avoid spoilers other than…..aaaaaaahhhhhh! 😩🥰💙🙏🥹😀😢😂😒 Read or listen to this book. If you like morally gray, enemies to lovers, smut, world building, fantasy and Fae and Alchemy and other cool things! Also 🦊!!

This was such a cute read. It takes place around Winter Solstice, so it‘s a great one for this time of year. It‘s a bit of a respite from what happened in the previous book, and what has yet to happen. Our characters get some much needed fun, and there were plenty of funny moments (and a couple of 🌶️ ones). They‘re still emotionally dealing with all that has transpired, some handling it worse than others. Let‘s see what happens in the next one…

Delayed morning thanks to this gorgeous snow, so spending some time with Callie Hart! 🤩 ❄️

Unlike the first book, this one didn't draw me in. The endless “mate“ references didn't help—she uses it constantly. We get it, they're mated. Honestly, I think I liked it more when they had the angst between them, and now that they‘re “mated,” all that delicious tension is gone. Sometimes I was just downright bored with the monotony this was giving.
🎙️•I love duet narration, so this was obviously fantastically done.
Still trucking on my reread of this favorite series. And damn, I forgot how EPIC and badass the end of this one is. Just chills! So good.

#LittensLoveSJM #ToG Queen of Shadows Ch.81-end /review - wow a lot happened in this book, and in these last few chapters! Aelin and her court, have returned to Terrasen. They have their work cut out for them fighting for what is hers. The king of Adarlan is dead - or so they believe. I want to see a body before I make up my mind. Dorian is now King and has been left in Adarlan. I worry about how he‘ll get on by himself. ⬇️

Sometimes I'll read a book on Bookey just because I'm short on time and it's convenient. I've been reading The Assassin's blade and I am kinda shocked I'm enjoying it because I'm not the biggest fan of Sarah J's writing but even in short form the story is engaging and I'm wondering where she went wrong on ACOTAR

I‘m not normally huge on fairies. I really enjoyed the setting of this one though - it was perfect for November.
