I was disappointed by this book. It had way too much spice (even for me) that there was no character development & barely any plot

4.5⭐️ holy hell, what a ride. Let‘s start with please check your trigger warnings. I get that it‘s a dark romance, but some of the “villains” scenes can be a little much. This is a dark romance/thriller book and it kept me on the edge of my seat. The only reason it doesn‘t have a higher score was because a lot of the spice took over some of the plot. Mind you I loved all the spice. I just could‘ve used some more backstory. #BookSpin #BookSpinBingo

This was a fun one by Carlton. An invigorating read for the end of the year 😄

I honestly think this book was over hyped. The spice level is amazing! The creepiness is on point. But the story line did not keep me hooked. I can‘t put my finger on the exact thing that turned me off or why I had to make myself keep going. But I do not think this book is worth the hype.

The triggers warnings are real with this one. Sometimes I needed more to happen, but I thought her writing was phenomenal. Definitely worth it if you‘re into dark enemies-lovers books. #bookishmonopoly

This book was so good. I highly recommend this book. I listened to it. I would love the physical copy of this one so I could reread and annotate it.

Currently listening. I also reading a book. Ill post it later. Im listening to this while cleaning the church that i clean. I heard that this will make you cry and i could use a good cry.

I loved Sawyer but found that Enzo could be incredibly cruel towards her, to the point I found their interactions to be uncomfortable. Despite their rocky relationship, the spice was so strong that I thought my Kindle was going to burst into flames.

TW for PTSD, sexual assault, child abuse and more. Tread carefully if you're of a sensitive disposition.

I am almost done with Does It Hurt? by H.D. Carlton, and then I will be moving onto the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas !

Sawyer is one of my favorite female characters of all the dark romance books I have read thus far. 💗🦈

Another amazon H.D Carlton book, I absolutely loved this one! So eerie, spicy and makes you question your sanity. 5/5 🌟

This book got me like a hit to the solar plexus. Deliciously dark and sinfully sexy. Sawyer has been on the run for a long time, stealing identities to help maintain her precarious lifestyle and anonymity. But after hooking up with the (beyond) sexy Enzo, he's on to her and he's pissed. A storm and a capsized boat later, and they're seeking refuge on a remote island with a creepy lighthouse keeper. So 🌶 my Kindle was steaming. Check TWs! 😳
