I wanted to read this one before watching the movie. It's been on my TBR for a while.

This was a great atmospheric read that really put me in the woods feeling like I was the one who was trapped. I loved the narrator for the audiobook, too! It was a perfect read for this time of year.

So creepy, atmospheric and weird. Loved the book, but the odds are very low that I will be brave enough to watch the movie. #iamaweenie

This is a creepy, slow burn, atmospheric thriller. I liked this one and it kept me reading. I did guess the twist and the end was a little more of a whisper than I typically enjoy in a thriller/horror. Overall I did like it, and I‘m interested to eventually check out the movie. 3.5⭐️

A perfectly gothic, creepy Halloween read. Very tense and nerve-wracking plot, particularly listening to audiobook. 🫣😱
Ideal for #Scarathlon #TEAMBooklovers #Littenlisten

I have too many to choose from. There, I said it. Although, choosing books I already own on my tbr shelf, Kindle or Audible for #bookspinbingo is working. I'm galloping through them.
I keep playing that Ariana Grande song, "Thank U, Next" in my head. But for books, not blokes!! ??

Bookwormjillk I really liked Kindred 13mo

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟I loved this twisty, atmospheric, trapped in the woods tale. It was super creepy in all the good ways.

Sooo creepy!!!! This truly set my nerves on end! The idea of being trapped inside a cold, unfriendly building, unable to see outside while literal monsters beat at the glass and scream has to be the epitome of terror. And of course not being able to actually SEE the monsters makes it even worse in my opinion. There‘s a twist that I figured out pretty quickly but it didn‘t make me like it any less. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Finishing April with The Watchers! #thewatchers #amshine #aprilreads In my opinion, it's better than Stolen Tongues! 😅🤩🤩

This would have worked much better as a short story or novella. It felt unnecessarily blown up by purple prose that bogged the initially creepy plot down.

Book 180🎧 2.5⭐️

This was a slow burn for me. I didn‘t really get into it until about the 50% mark and I almost DTF before that. But the end half was more interesting! Although I still have questions and I wanted a bit more detail about the “Watchers”
