Another Lady Agatha short story collection, but this one seems a little different, probably because there is not a lot of murders and mystery solving, more some strange situations.

I really need Christie's estate to go do what Seuss' estate just did and pull the overtly racist stuff out of Christie's work. In particular, SOS from this collection needs to never see the light of day again.
Racism aside, this still wasn't a great pick for me. I just don't like these sorts of short stories that are more esoteric/supernatural. Just give me a good ol' fashioned murder with a detective.
I'm continuing on with the #agathachristieclub where I left off. This is a collection of stories about the strange & supernatural. The standout from this is "The Witness for the Prosecution" which deviates from the general spooky theme. My first time reading the story—an excellent example of a tightly-constructed mystery short with a twist. The rest of the stories here often have potential & eerie atmosphere but fall short with silly endings. ⬇️
Agatha Christie gets spooky, with seances, mediums, ghosts and tricks of the mind. I enjoyed this collection of short stories immensely, onwards with the standalone Christie‘s in my desire to read them all.
I believe the Queen of Crime deserves a #bookspiral
