I just really love Phoebe. She reads her own books and they are great.

This title pretty much sums up this perfectly! I‘ve read Phoebe‘s second book but still need to read her first. I don‘t remember heavy topics in her other (tagged) but this one covered 2020 and you know what that means — pandemic and #BLM movement. But still lots to laugh about here. She always delivers and I lovvvvee her tangents, abbreviations, and hashtags. Excellent narration for the #audiobook.
This was an #audiolisten and also my favorite of her books so far. Think she has definitely grown as a writer and person and found her voice. Look forward to seeing what she does next.
Entertaining and thought provoking, just like her last collection. The essay on self care is so on point- definitely my favorite in this book.
I didn‘t enjoy this at all, I didn‘t laugh a single time.
I liked this. Very conversational. Some essays where stronger than others, but overall enjoyed the candid and funny and informative views on very prescient issues
Funny, crass. honest. I love her perspective and sense of humor and how openly she calls out white women to do better. #BookspinBingo #BFC22 #audiowalking @TheAromaofBooks @wanderinglynn
I‘ve enjoyed all of Phoebe Robinson‘s books, and this is no exception. I appreciate her balance of discussing important topics with good content while keeping it funny at the same time. I especially appreciated her essay about running your own business and her brief mentions of her parents. Definitely recommend!
I listened to this book read by the author, which of course is the way to go! These are very current essays (this is her third book in four years after all!) Including some pandemic related topics. ↘️
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ok, Phoebe, let‘s hang out already! I. So. Wish. She‘s such a funny storyteller and incredibly honest in her weirdness. Makes me feel better about my idiosyncrasies. These essays cover a wide variety. Very relatable and often educational. Still trying to wrap my head around outside vs inside clothes. 😂 If you haven‘t listened to her books yet, you‘re missing out!
Just finished this month's #bookspin pick! I liked this book, but not as much as her previous books. I'm not sure if it's because it was more serious/less funny, or because I was just annoyed by some of her hot takes! Still, it's a good listen, especially if you're a fan.

Phoebe Robinson‘s third book is full of the humor and truth bombs we have come to expect. Read my full review here: https://debbybrauer.org/#please-dont-sit-on-my-bed-in-your-ou...
I always have fun laughing with Phoebe! She‘s a great comedy writer, and I love her stanning U2, calling her boyfriend British Bake-Off, and her explanations of her weird abbreviations. Imagine spending the afternoon with your funniest friend. Plus her narration is 🔥! That said, none of this particularly sticks with me despite really enjoying myself in the moment. Overall definitely worth a #BorrowNotBuy!
Keeping with the theme of long titles…my #NewReleaseTuesday on Libby this week is the Dope Queen herself. Excited to dive into this when I finish up my current book!
