Goodreads has decided to start emailing me every time I finish a book. "Congrats! You just finished Ah-Choo!" Anyone else getting these emails? I'm going to have to check my settings.
Edit: it's in Settings ➡️ Emails ➡️ Email me recommendations when I finish a book.
(also, today I discovered Bitmoji ? Thanks, @Melissa_J ?)
This was a highly readable book about the common cold for the general reader. Some of the information about studies may be out of date, because the book was published in 2010; there may also be new studies by now that reinforce or refute these ones. Also contains chicken soup recipes 😂🍵
I thought it might be appropriate to have chicken noodle soup for lunch, given what I'm reading and the fact that I am feeling a wee bit poorly (and waiting to see if it does develop into a cold or whether it will wear off).
Ugh. Summer colds are no fun. The only silver lining is an excuse to read (and sleep) all day.
