I ended up finishing the other three stories in this paranormal holiday anthology & while the first (set in Kim Harrison‘s Hollows series) was a pick, the others were only a so-so for me. 🤷🏻‍♀️I counted Harrison‘s words for the #WinterGames2021 #WGWordSearch already, but the remaining 3 stories had 178 words total for 1,780 points. Plus 26 for winter/holiday Read & participation & of course, #readathon points (listed ⬇️) for #TeamGameSleighers

I bought this book on Kindle deal specifically for the Kim Harrison Hollows series story “Two Ghosts for Sister Rachel” which is set on solstice (when I read it) & a good quick read about Rachel when she was 17. Not sure if I‘ll read the other stories or not, but maybe… The story had 66 words from the #WinterGames2021 #WGwordsearch so 600 points + 26 points for a holiday/wintery read & of course #readathon (listed ⬇️) points for #teamgamesleighers

MeganAnn 🎉👏🏻❤️ I loved getting a glimpse of Rachel when she was younger. Although I‘m sorry you had to buy this one just for the story. Hopefully if you get around to reading any of the stories you like some of them also. I don‘t think I‘ve read any of the other authors before. 3y

(And it was after I said Rachel & I were taking a break for the holidays! )😉🤣 I may sneak in the others just to check them out as I‘m not familiar with them either. 3y

Rough night for my Calli who has been sick the past two days with diarrhea which the vet said is possibly from her eating a toy and some wood from sticks. She had a bad accident in her crate last night and the poor girl is so tired. Starting #24in48 a bit tired but motivated. #dogsoflitsy

I suggest this book if you are a fan of an author included in the anthology. If you aren't a fan, the drop in world building can make you stumble. I read this for Kim Harrison's Two Ghosts for Sister Rachel. It felt like coming home to friends I've missed since the Hollows ended. I also enjoyed The Harvest by Vicki Petersson, which made me interested in her Zodiac series, but the other two stories were a bit too sexy for me.
